What is DocPP TeleCare?
DocPP TeleCare is an online healthcare platform operated by HealthCare.LK (Pvt) Ltd. It helps patients discover verified doctors and other eligible healthcare practitioners, book and pay for online consultations, attend video appointments and receive appropriate issued documents.
How do I book an online doctor in Sri Lanka?
Search by doctor, speciality, expertise, language or location, compare the displayed fee and availability, select a suitable time and complete the secure online payment. If a doctor is online, an instant appointment may be available.
Can I channel a doctor online?
Yes. DocPP TeleCare lets you channel a participating doctor online by choosing an available appointment and completing payment. You can then join the doctor through the appointment’s video consultation link.
Does DocPP TeleCare charge patients a booking fee?
No. DocPP TeleCare does not add a patient booking fee. Patients pay the practitioner’s displayed consultation charge through the available secure payment method.
What can I receive after an online consultation?
The practitioner may issue appropriate consultation documents when clinically necessary and permitted within their professional scope. Available documents can be accessed from the patient dashboard.
Is DocPP TeleCare suitable for emergencies?
No. DocPP TeleCare is not an emergency service. For urgent or life-threatening symptoms, contact the local emergency service or attend the nearest appropriate medical facility.
