DocPP TeleCare Terms & Conditions
DocPP TeleCare is owned and operated by HealthCare.LK (Pvt) Ltd. These terms govern access to and use of the DocPP TeleCare website, accounts, appointment booking, online consultation, payment and clinical-document services.
1. Platform role
DocPP TeleCare provides technology that connects patients with independent healthcare professionals and practices. It does not replace a hospital, emergency service or the professional judgement of a treating practitioner.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate, current information, protect your login credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. Healthcare professionals remain responsible for their registration, authority to practise and the accuracy of their public profile.
3. Clinical care and emergencies
Online consultation may not be suitable for every condition. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service or attend the nearest suitable medical facility. Practitioners decide whether remote care is clinically appropriate.
4. Appointments, fees and payments
Displayed consultation fees, availability and cancellation conditions apply when an appointment is booked. Payments may be processed by an independent payment provider. Refund eligibility and the limited technical-issue review process are explained in our Refund Policy.
5. Prescriptions and issued documents
Prescriptions, referrals, medical certificates, investigation requests, invoices and other documents are issued for the named patient and relevant consultation. Their validity, permitted use and expiry are shown on the document. Possession of a historical prescription does not authorise repeat dispensing.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or harmful material, interfere with security, scrape protected information or use issued documents fraudulently.
7. Privacy and records
Personal and health information is handled according to the published Privacy Policy. Users must not disclose another person’s confidential information without lawful authority.
8. Third-party services
Video, messaging, email, payment and other integrations may be supplied by third parties and can be subject to their own terms, availability and technical limitations.
9. Intellectual property
The DocPP TeleCare platform, branding and original website content remain the property of HealthCare.LK (Pvt) Ltd or its licensors. No ownership rights are transferred by use of the service.
10. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service reliable and secure, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, HealthCare.LK (Pvt) Ltd is not responsible for independent clinical decisions or losses caused by events outside its reasonable control.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance. Access may be restricted for material breach, fraud, safety or legal reasons.
12. Contact
