Professional biography
Dr. Nissanka Madipola is a senior specialist consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist (VOG) with 28 years of clinical experience, currently practising as a Consultant at Altnegelvin Hospital in Northern Ireland. He obtained an MBBS from the University of Peradeniya in 1998, followed by DFFP (London) in 2006, MRCOG(London) in 2012, MSc in ultrasound scanning (London )in 2013, and FRCOG (London) in 2024. Dr. Madipola's clinical interests include gynaecology, obstetrics, fetal medicine, maternal medicine, ultrasound scanning in obstetrics and gynaecology, open and laparoscopic surgery in obstetrics and gynaecology, with particular expertise in fetal medicine and maternal medicine. He is a member of the Sri Lanka Medical Council, the General Medical Council (UK 6084031), the Medical Council UAE (Dubai Health Authority 38056842), and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to every patient.
