Platform and Professional Responsibility Terms

These terms set out the responsibilities of healthcare professionals who create and operate a tenant practice on DocPP TeleCare.

Professional responsibility

• Provide complete, current and accurate professional and registration information.
• Maintain all licences, registrations and professional indemnity arrangements required to practise.
• Exercise independent clinical judgement and remain responsible for all clinical decisions, advice, prescriptions, certificates and records issued through the platform.
• Use telemedicine only where it is clinically appropriate and arrange in-person or emergency care when required.

Platform use

• Keep account credentials secure and allow access only to authorised practice personnel.
• Use patient and platform information only for lawful healthcare and practice-administration purposes.
• Comply with applicable professional, privacy, record-keeping, prescribing and patient-safety requirements.
• Promptly report suspected security, privacy or patient-safety incidents to HealthCare.LK.

Platform role

DocPP TeleCare supplies digital practice infrastructure. It does not replace the practitioner's professional judgement or responsibility for care.

This starter document must be reviewed and replaced by HealthCare.LK with legally approved wording before production release.
